"though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed"...The verse that said our faith perishes even though refined by fire really stood out as I read through this morning....sometimes i do loose faith...there are times that i forget that God is with me no matter how bad it may seem and that it'll ALL turn out for my good...I guess this says to me today...keep on keeping on....get up when you fall and just keep going....and remember the nice picture on the blog with the witnesses cheering as you go....
God bless you all

It's NOT our faith which perishes, even though refined by fire. It's gold. It says our faith is worth much more than gold, which will perish even though it was refined in physical fire. The implication is that our precious faith is being refined, like gold, in the "fire" of trials. This is a great encouragement in the troubles we all face! God bless you, Anka!
