What you said about lying to ourselves was very important. This was indeed a good lesson.

The picture of Jesus hugging someone is too awesome for words.

"though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed"...The verse that said our faith perishes even though refined by fire really stood out as I read through this morning....sometimes i do loose faith...there are times that i forget that God is with me no matter how bad it may seem and that it'll ALL turn out for my good...I guess this says to me today...keep on keeping on....get up when you fall and just keep going....and remember the nice picture on the blog with the witnesses cheering as you go....
God bless you all

Eye opener, yes, we do lie to ourselves.

This is a very interesting lesson. I want to really look into this.

I believe that when we are born again, truely born again, most of us realize that we do inherit salvation and not just the wind. God opens our eyes to a lot once we are born again we are no longer blinded by satan's lies.

I love 1 peter v 8 You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 9 The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

oh happy day!!

I love in 1P "May God give you more and more grace and peace.". yes! i need all the grace and peace i can get!!

"even the angels eagerly watch"...thats just an unbeleivable thought.

the thing is, we still in our conditions, cannot fathom the deep love God has for us, its just not possible to understand. I mean, i can love someone with all I have, love the Lord with everything in me...thats still so limited compared to His love for us. If you really study what Jesus went through prior and during the crusifixion...honestly, i cant say i could go thru that for anyone. If you think the pain the Father had for His Son going through that....all this because His love for us was sooo great! Its just imcomprehensible with our limited wisdom.

Psalm 119:27 / Let me understand the teaching of your precepts;

then I will meditate on your wonders.

Actually I'm asking for this every day, sometimes I have a hard time understanding books in the Old Testament. I always ask for His help when I read them. I really want to understand them in order to understand what has happened and what will happen. It's really important for me to understand it all. I really need to understand what His precepts are. I cannot do this by myself. That's why I'm so happy with this BibleStudy, it guides me through His word.
