These things stood out to me today:Daniel must have been a busy man,but he did every thing right,responsibly,I think he took his work as a form of worship if I may say to God.Because no fault was found in him,God was glorified.I'm sure I can't honestly say that about me.There are times I get upset,there are times I grumble in my heart and yes there are times when I'm careless so this struck me hard...
As busy as Daniel was and as prosperous,he turned towards Jerusalem to pray..psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure....anyway point is he never forgot where he came from,never got too busy to pray...in time of trial he didn't rush to God as a last minute resort,he just did what he always did daily...God gave each of us 24 hours daily,I know I'm really stingy with the time I spend with God daily...my flimsy excuse.."i get too busy,then too tired when i come from work"....Daniel was 50years older,maybe busier...
True many parts of Paul's letters are not understood,God in His mercy is beginning to show me things that I chose to ignore because I thought they didn't refer to this generation/culture.
Today's readings were a reality check for me.
...........................
Votes for next year's verse...well I have to say verse 130 struck me as well as verse 133(Direct my footsteps according to your word;
let no sin rule over me. )For God to direct our steps and for us to be victorius in our various "prone to sin"areas,we need God's word desperately....Gotta stop here and let this lessons really sink in...
God bless you all
God bless you

what impresss me most in today's scripture is in psalm 119:137-144, in which the writer used repeated Alternation, showing he is consuming god's words. Its reveal how strong his passion on Gods word is. I am not sure if I have faith like daniel. However I am pretty sure that by immitating the passion of god's words in these verse, it will lead me to have the faith just like daniel.

With love in him

I love this chapter in Daniel. Its touching how anguished Darius was and how thrilled he was for Daniel to be alive and gave God the glory. He is indeed a living, personal God.

I love 2 Peter 3:9. Sometimes i get impatient and selfish and want Jesus to come asap, but I know He is holding back til the last person who will repent does. (i'm sure glad He waited for me), I dont want anyone to have to go thru the Great Trib or much worse, to go into eternal seperation from Him. "Our Lord's patience means salvation(v.15)." ...i love that.

ohhh, i love Ps. v 130. that is beautiful...it is light and I looove the light!! i need it so bad. there is peace, rest and joy in his word and in His light! i too pant for his word!

v. 133 "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me". thats sure my prayer! i hope its all of ours!

God's word is so amazing! i cant believe i went days and weeks without reading. I finished my one year bible way earlier this yr or last yr (which took me 5 yrs to read, haha) and kinda put it aside, just sporadically reading the word, mostly at church. Man, i was starving. I was like a spiritual anorexic! I'm so glad i found this site! I only found it on Sept 10th (my niece's bday<3) but these past couple months i have been soooo blessed. Plus your blogs and pics are wonderful!! Thank you!!

Psalms 119:135
This is a good one too. Would this one work for your page topper?

135 Make Your face shine upon Your servant,
And teach me Your statutes.

What a cute cute cute baby!!!!!!! Adorable!!!!!!! I want to squeeze those chubby cheeks!

Anyway ... the Psalms today ... sighhhhhhhhh amazing again! I love the Psalms. Now, that's new, eh? I'm absolutely hungry for Psalms!

vs 130 and vs 151 are breathtaking!

130 The unfolding of your words gives light;
it gives understanding to the simple.
151 Yet you are near, O LORD,
and all your commands are true.

His words give light, it gives understanding to the simple ... so true ... so true ... Everybody can understand the word of God! It defenitly gives light! The more I read the Bible, the more I understand it. It's great!

And vs 151 ... do I need more? He's near ... I can feel him near me, He protects me, He helps me. His commands give me strength and they help me through everything.

The Lord is sooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's in control ... always!!!!!

The cartoon is really great.

It confirmed my reading in Heb 11:14 Sooo encouraging and guiding my thoughts and actions and prayers.

Like Noah living just before God's righteous judgment, we too are waiting for wrath like never happen before. I feel like I too like Noah need to get my family and house in order. The time is short and God is about to do a big world wide event. like the flood.

Anyway the warning and guiding scripture but the fear of the Lord in me and comforted me at the same time. Praise God. And God help me to obey truth He shows me in His word.

I wonder if you might be interested in my Bible Reading Notes, covering the whole of Scripture www.christinallthescriptures.blogspot.com http://chascameron.spaces.live.com
