I love Rev 4:8...

Holy Holy Holy
is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come

What a great memory verse!

Who's your neighbour? ~ My next door neighbours ... yeah well ... what can I say ... It's a Muslim family; a father, a mother and 3 adorable sons. The mother doesn't really like me ha ha ha I don't know why, I'm so loveable (ugh ugh)!!! I don't know what's up with her or what's up with me, she just can't stand me. Seriously, when I go out of the door and she has the same plan, she'll get back into the house emmidiatly, so she doesn't have to say hello to me ... I'm always nice for her, she might never like me and that's okay, it's not about me, it's about her to feel that she can always count on me if she ever needs me. For a fact I know that their marriage is not how it's suppose to be (sorry, it sounds like I'm a big gossip, but I'm not, I just need to give you some info, so you can understand this situation), they fight a lot and sometimes he won't show up for days. And I always say hello to her, I always try to have a small talk with her, so she knows that she can always come knocking our door if she needs help. She might never do it, but I want her to know. She doesn't have to like me, but I want to be there for her if she needs me. Even if she doesn't greet me, even if she tries her best to ignore me, I want to be a good neighbour. Besides that, I shouldn't say that she doesn't like me. I don't know for sure. Okay, the signs say she doesn't. But there's a small chance that she has different reasons for behaving to me like she does.

I really like Revelation 4:2 - "At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it". Reading this chapter I was actually visualizing the throne. How awesome if I could see that throne and God sitting in it! Standing there in front of Him ... wow ... When I think about that, it makes my eyes water. I want to hold Him and thank Him for everything He did for me and still does for me. He gave me Jesus, He gave me the Holy Spirit. I really can see that happen one day ... the thought makes me happy!

"arise, O LORD, and come to your resting place,
you and the ark of your might" Psalm 132:8
Okay, honestly I don't really know what is meant by 'Your resting place'. I'm not sure what this verse literaly sais. But it sounds beautiful. I think of 'the ark' as the church, as 'the resting place'. So He can be in his resting place while we praise Him, thank Him and ask Him for help. Does this sound acceptable?

"Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe" Proverbs 29:25
Good reminder ... whatever might happen: remember that He keeps us safe! He wants us to be safe and He wants everybody to be safe. It defenitly is a snare to fear of someone. It does happen to me once in a while, you know, I'm only human. One second I think "Yikes!!! What's this?!!! I'm scared". But the next second I think further and think about God and how He protects me and it makes me strong right away.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want ....

WOW! What an awe inspiring passage in revelations. Those pics you shared really helped to bring it together. It leaves me feeling like I need to spend time prostrate before God. Thanks brother for the work you do, it has been really instrumental in keeping me in God's Word!

Obadiah 1:1-21

Interesting how “lofty” heights, goals, apartments, office suites, being high up on the organization charts may cause one to “look down” on those around us. It appears that Edom fell into that trap.

3 You have been deceived by your own pride
because you live in a rock fortress
and make your home high in the mountains.
‘Who can ever reach us way up here?’
you ask boastfully.

Edom also ran afoul of God’s Words to Abram (Abraham) and Israel:

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Gen 12:1-3)

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
(Exo 23:22-23)

Edom saw the condition of Israel/Judah and thought what she saw was her final outcome. Edom failed to understand that God is over life and death; He is the God of resurrected dead things. Edom saw and judged, she judged wrongly. Let us not fail to put the God of resurrection in the midst of things we may wrongly call “dead” especially when we see that dead thing as an enemy.

Grace and peace,
Ramona

There is NOTHING I desire more then to see God face to face! My soul is so desperate for that day!....and its not if, its when. It WILL happen...amazing!!!
