"Do you seek God when trouble comes? Do you realize that he is a strong refuge - if you will seek him and let him be a strong refuge for you? Do you know that God is good? Do you trust in him?"

Ironically that you ask this cause I watched a movie on the Hallmark channel last night and it pointed out something interesting..those that run from something and are always on the move are not looking for something they are looking for comfort from God..How true...I know some people in my immediate family that are exactly like this..

Do you believe that your prayers reach God's altar in heaven?
I believe my prayers reach God's altar in heaven because if they didn't then why do we pray?
Mae commented on 'December 17th One Year Bible Readings'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341c5ebf53ef00d835053b3269e22006-12-17T22:39:55Z2007-08-19T23:47:49ZMaeNahum 1:7 - "The LORD is good. Amen! God knows you better than you know yourself! That's why it's so easy to love Him! You don't have to be ashamed! He knows what your struggles are, He knows what your weak and strong places are. When I find myself in trouble I turn to Him right away, there's no doubt about it. First Him and the rest follows! First I turn to my Father, when I lay all my troubles there, I know at least 1 person understands what I'm talking about. The beauty of it is that He can do something about it. I know I don't have to be afraid, I trust The Lord 100%!

I really love to read Revelations! I can't say too much about it, I'm seriously in total awe! I loved reading about the angles today ... Angels are so amazing! I can visualize todays verses from Revelations ... angles with trumpets looking down on the earth.

As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!"
Ramona commented on 'December 17th One Year Bible Readings'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341c5ebf53ef00d835052ee069e22006-12-17T18:15:58Z2007-08-19T23:43:03ZRamonaNahum 1-3:19 There is a song that has as its chorus the words, “Only What You Do for Jesus will...
Nahum 1-3:19

There is a song that has as its chorus the words, “Only What You Do for Jesus will Last,” or something like that. Man made “stuff” no matter how strong we may think it is will crumble, as the inhabitants of Nineveh would come to see. We may rattle our swords, have parades that showcase our military, troops and weapons but compared to the power of God, they are matchsticks and men made of straw.

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
(1 Corinthians 3:11-13 KJVR)

As we build our lives are we building upon a manmade foundation with bricks forged in the fire of man’s desire, or are we building on the foundation of Jesus Christ?

Grace and peace,
