Revelation 17:14 - "They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers". Amen!!!!!! This one stood defenitaly out for me today!!! Praise the Lord for this!!! I was reading this and thinking "Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!". It's good to know that we go with Him, right? 'He's the Lord of the Lord and King of Kings'!!!! We are with Him!! We're his faithful followers!!! How cool is this ... we are mentioned in the Bible!!! "Chosen and faithfull followers". Amen!!!

Another verse that really got me today:
Psalm 145:13 - "Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made". Just stay His faithful follower and you get what you asked for ... Todays Bible verse I received from Christ Notes is Matthew 6:33 "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well". God doesn't break His promise, all I have to do is not break mine and continu to live for him. I was saved, I've been baptised ... just continue living how I promised I would and I'll receive ....

Mike and everyone,
Zechariah 9:9 Amplified Bible -
"Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion!
Shout aloud, O Daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King (Messianic King) is coming to you;
He is righteous and endowed with salvation,
Humble and unassuming [in submission to the will of the Father] and riding on a donkey,
Upon a colt, the foal of a donkey."
Learned the following from a sermon called "Rejoice! Your King is coming! Zechariah 9:9-10" by Pastor Steven J. Cole at Flagstaff Christian Fellowship, June 8, 2003 :
'Jesus Christ is the King of humility.
The donkey was a lowly animal, used for peaceable purposes by those
who were of no rank or position. By riding the foal of a donkey,
Jesus was showing Himself to be the King ... but not the exalted political king that the people expected.
The Hebrew word for “humble” can also mean poor or needy in an economic sense, and that was also true of Jesus, who had no earthly wealth or possessions (Luke 9:58). The word also includes the meaning of a righteous man afflicted by evil men.
Jesus willingly laid aside His rights and took the form of a servant, becoming obedient to the point of death on a cross (Phil. 2:5-8).'
This Christmas season in the shopping centers, no matter day or night, there are people busy buying gifts ...
It's humbling to remember that Jesus was humble in that he had no rank or position, that he was poor with no earthly wealth or possessions.
It's humbling to be reminded that in the western world we focus a lot on raising our self esteem, feeling good about ourselves, asserting our own rights ...
Yet Jesus willingly laid aside His right as God, and became obedient to the point of death on a cross.
As Jesus' followers living in this day and age, how are we to be? How are we to live?
How are we to live that others may see we are following the King of humility?
May our Heavenly Father continue to bless that many will form the habit of regularly reading & meditating on His Word through this blog - pray in His Son Jesus' Name - amen.

Thank you Mike and everyone! Blessings!
