I really like Hebrews 10:15-18 about the Holy Spirit coming inside to be in us. I just started reading a book that my husband recommended called "Loving God Up Close". So the fact that I stumbled across this reading today confirms that God wants me to know more about the spirit.

In Hebrews passage mentioned twice that we are made holy by Jesus sacrifice on the cross for our sins. It does not end there. God also promises to put his laws in our hearts and on our minds so that we don't depend on our works but to be obedient to the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Thank you Lord for my salvation and I do confess that am still struggling daily to be like you.

God sent Jesus the Redeemer to rescue us and take the punishment for our sin once for all. “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬) Thanks be to the Holy Spirit’s work. “The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭10:15-16‬)
My favor verses and I am so moved by these verse. “Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭10:17-18‬) Thank you, Jesus for your have done for me.

“I have come to do your will, my God.” What simple and yet succinct way to summary the purpose of our lives, Jesus demonstrated perfectly on the cross. May we not give in to all the distractions of the world that feed us endless selfish desires, but ask the spirit to constantly reveal Andy help us focus on knowing and doing His will.
