It is with a sense of great accomplishment and gratefulness that I comment today. A year ago I started reading the One Year Bible blog without much hope of finishing, because of the times I'd failed before. Although I skipped out most of Ezekiel because I got really behind at one stage, I got through the rest. YAY!

Knowing that there was a community of readers doing this with me, and being able to interact with you all through comments was a key ingredient for me. Thank you to all who posted.

Mike, thank you so much. Your commitment to this blog is admirable, and your humility is inspiring. I think you must be one of Jesus' heros when I see how many lives you are touching daily through your obedience to Him.

Having read the whole Bible now, I have a much better idea of God as the beginning and the end, God working through history, God unravelling His love-plan and God reaching out to us. I have a much better understanding of Israel and the Jewish nation, and how they are a precious part of the fact that I am a Christian today. Praise You, Lord for drawing near to us. Praise You for The Message.

Mike I have been with you since you started this wonderful ministry and will continue reading the Bible each day with you next year.

God bless you!
Pat, your friend from Kentucky

Thank you for this blog. Reading through the bible this past year with this blog has been a blessing. There are days (like when doing physical exercise workouts) that I have not been motivated or filled with a passion to do the readings. When this has happened, this blog helped to provide the structure and encouragement to complete my spiritual workouts providing points to focus on. So thanks for that!
This was my third attempt to complete the one year blog, and I was able, with this encouragement and guidance, to successfully finish. Now I look forward to using my notes from this past year to learn more from his living word through continued daily readings. Cheers!

I have enjoyed this bible study for 4 yr now. Ea yr I grow more. Ty soooo much. God Bless

I think this is my 5th year reading through the Bible with your help Mike in understanding Scripture, your questions to ponder and self-examine. There are lots of days that I missed my readings, and some of the books I go through quickly because they are hard for me to comprehend, but will keep moving forward in 2021 and try again. I have my favorite books and life stories....like Joseph, Ruth, Esther and many more. I always learn something new I did not see in previous years. Love a Proverb each day....helps me most with "life-application today."

I seem to pass quickly through the crucifixion of Jesus....because it totally breaks my heart to tears to reread what He endured for me....a sinner. I love Jesus so much! I realize my trials can never compare to what He did for us out of so much LOVE for each one of God's children. Helps me with my own struggles to lean on Jesus even more....for He promised to "never leave or forsake us." I don't always do what God puts on my heart out of fear....which saddens me greatly, BUT coming back to reading the Bible each day, God always puts in my heart what I need to hear. I sincerely want to try harder in 2021 to not be FEARFUL and do what God puts on my heart to do.

Thank you for your faithfulness in the ministry Mike! God bless you always.

I praise God for another year of being able to read His Word. I think this makes 15 or 16 years. All I know is that this Bible reading plan is the only one in which I have been successful. Any others I have tried I was never able to finish. May God bless you, Mike, as you continue your ministry. I encourage anyone starting out to read the Bible in a year to use this plan. May God bless you as you read and study His Word, and let us all give God the glory!

To continue from above, my studies this year in God's Word revealed to me more clearly how sinful man is and how the only way to be forgiven is by being totally dependent on Jesus. I praise Him for saving my soul!
